A couple weeks ago, we surprised our dear friend Karissa with a trip to Cannon Beach. Much to her surprise, we met her at work (after checking with her husband, who is also her boss, of course!), told her to get in the car, and were off. Not as single if, and, or but about it! She was quite literally kid-napped, kid-snagged? Kid-taken? Anyway, you get it. My kids stole her away from all her daily duties.

Blueberry picking was first on the list, then the quick drive to the ocean.

We had a delightful time. Met up with other friends from our community, vacationing there with their family. The girls loved the sand and water.

Guys! We’re only like an hour and half from the sea! Why don’t we do this all the time?

That’s bound to change. Turns out we’ve got at least one kiddo who’s a major fan.Who wouldn’t want to be kidnapped by that cutie-pie? Want to go next time?!
